That's where money is : The Economist. Vocable 691 and universal declaration of human rights
http://www.economist.com/news/leaders/21603026-how-hand-over-272-billion-year-criminals-thats-where-money
I have read that article about American health care easy money in The Economist (Vocable 691). Anyway it is true for any country. Patients can claim benefits to which they are not entitled and suppliers can charge medical insurance for non existent services.
It is hard to make such a vast system secure but important to do so because Social security spending is easily going out of control and represents a lot of money.
Crooks love American health care for two reasons. First, as Willie Sutton said of banks, it’s where the money is—no other country spends nearly as much on pills and procedures. Second, unlike a bank, it is barely guarded.

Hi everyone.
Americans tend toward honesty more than some cultures but crooks are everywhere no matter where they come from.
what do you think ?

Hi Muriel,
Everyone has their definition of honesty and if human organ trading is forbidden in France, everything looks permitted in the US as soon as it concerns money : GMOs, Assisted Reproduction, etc.
Unfortunately, world trading rules are the rules of the United States so tha France will always be the loser in that domain.

Hi Gérard
Everything is possible as long as they comply with the universal declaration of human rights. Money can't buy everything.

Personally I think we should not be hesitant in respect of science.

Human rights are not the same for every nation...
> universal declaration of human rights
Aren't there any populated countries that doesn't sign this?

Hi Gérard
I agree that human rights are not the same for every nation and not every nation signed it. Don't forget that the "Universal declaration of human rights" is
http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-the-universal-declaration-of-human-rights.htm
But it shows that man can move ahead and take action on scientific research ( I also believe in science) but at the same time man must think how far he can go in playing the sorcerer's apprentice.
what is in stake ? mankind's future

an advisory statement rather than a legally binding document
