Re: Water On Earth
Yes, I also feel concerned on the subject of water.
During the time I spent in Spain, (Andalucía), it happened that the tap was shut a few hours a day, generally in the afternoon from 2 to 4,
to prevent people from using too much water. One becomes more conscious of the value of water, and tries not to waste it.

Hi Ghislaine, hi everyone,
Thanks for your response.
I remember water restrictions in Atlanta, GA. My friend was the President of the condo and they had to water the flowers after 10 pm. The faucets were not turned off in the day but they would get fines: a good way too, to teach people be aware of the importance of water (in the US, you can count on neighbors to denounce you if you are not respectful to instructions)

Hi Gérard !
Very interesting to know these figures.
France has still to improve.
But of course, when one has to go to the local well to fetch water, one tends to be more sparing.
