Speaking 2 or more languages becoming essential skill
Hi everyone,
Trust me, when Americans start a project...-> (New York Post) Speaking 2 or more languages becoming essential skill
If you want to get ahead, work locally, speak globally.
Increasingly, American business is conversing in a number of tongues as the truly global economy becomes more entrenched.

Hi Gerard
Of course we trust the Americans. In our rapidly globalizing economy understanding one another has become indispensable.
Those who are looking for a job must be aware that 15 percent pay increase is in store for them if they speak a foreign language

Hi Muriel,
15% is the figure in the American range.
There's also a number for the French... I could read about this years ago but I don't remember. Does anyone have comments or information?

What I can add is that years ago, when I was taking classes with Norma, she was so happy that she sent the excellent outcome of my exams to the Human Resource Manager, to all of her students in my company... she intended pay increase, and congrats from the HR Man, and emulation among the other students.
France is not the US and the consequence from the HR Manager was: "So, Gérard doesn't need any other lessons now!"
I could get other classes (with Norma) but several years later.
