Hi Philippe-Henri,
An example of what makes Seattle different is that we can see people wandering on the Streets. Seattle looks like a big village (maybe huge) with its fish market down Pike Street.
Down Pike Street is a bustling market looking like the street markets in Toulon ie you can see and hear stallholders shouting, calling the passersby, speaking loudly to other stallholders. It's the region of salmon and stallholders keep making the show sending salmons throughout the market (between stallholders) with an incredible dexterity.
I could see this in the market and wanted to go again... unfortunately my meeting and hotel were in Bellevue (another city at about 30 kilometers from Seattle), a team of stallholders came with their salmons for us (about 1,000 attendees).
Ask your favorite search engine and you'll get videos of what happens there: it's impressive and I don't know any US city with such shows in the street.

A friend of mine is presently at Pike Market (about the 12th time he goes to Seattle and everytime he visits Pike Market.
You can see the exact location in Seattle.

Philippe-Henri,
This photo was taken a few minutes ago.
Laurent is a fan of Seattle's Pike Street Fish Market and as I wrote it, he goes there everytime he is in Seattle (at least his 12th time) though his true destination is Redmond, several miles to the east.

This is the shuttle between Seattle and SEATAC airport.
I never went on it as last time I've been to Seattle is 2010 and I could only see the works.
As you might guess, the guy in front has a French face.
Lots of my friends arrived in Seattle yesterday -Saturday- for a full week meeting - I was invited but I won't attend this year either.

I'm surprised about the "currently operating as of 2009".. I took a bus in 2010 to go from SeaTac Airport toDowntown Seattle... true that I didn't go to Seattle but to Bellevue, that might be the reason

Hi everyone,
My friends, of whom Laurent, are back from Seattle. Laurent is a photographer and he prepared this series of signs
Yes, I know, he's rather attracted by food... then -not surprising- by dentists!
