Two months after Ocorrafoo Cobange, a biologist at the Wassee Institute of Medicine in Asmara, submitted a paper to the Journal of Natural Pharmaceuticals, he received an email congratulating him on the paper's acceptance. But Cobange did not respond, because he doesn't exist. The paper was a spoof cooked up by a scientist who has replicated the prank 304 times with open-access journals around the world.

This prank asks the question of the reliability of the scientific open access journals. Worrying isn't it ? what do you think ?

Hi Muriel,

Information is at the base of nowadays' life.
First of all, I think any mispublication should be punished.
