a very famous flying archaeologist
Hello François
What can we see from the sky ? Can we see Roman remains for exemple, when at spring we can guess sometimes the walls under the fields that make the vegetation grow differently (it looks clearer or darker depending on the remainings, the kind of remainings etc) ? This is the principles of the aerial archaeology which is the study of archaeological remains by examining them from altitude. In the north of France one pioneer has been Roger Lagache (Amiens 1926-2011) a very famous flying archaeologist...
Please feel free to point out big mistakes in my messages in a foreign language. Thanks to your remarks, I'll be able to improve my level.
