This one is a very useful picture.

I would add:
- tendency not to use "to" after "to help"
- tendency -in American I guess- not to use "to" after "to go": I go take the bus = je vais prendre l'autobus
Alternatives are "I go to take the bus", "I go and take the bus" - to me, in America, "I go take the bus" is more common" (they save their saliva for one word Wink ).
With "I'm going...", you absolutely need the "to": "I'm going to take the bus".
- regarding "After verbs of perception + object (action has finished)"
During my studies, I neglected "action has finished" and I was surprised to hear "I hear him singing" thinking it should be "I hear him sing"... no, if the action is still in progress we've to use the present participle.

Hi Gérard
Thanks you for these expressions !
I go take the bus
I have never heard that  American expression.
I only know that "To take the bus" is American English an "To catch the bus" British English.
Thanks for teaching me something new.

I'm not that satisfied.
As they used "I hate, I can't stand"
for "Talking about things you like",
they should have added others such as
- I do love rock'n'roll
- I adore Paris
- How lovely!
- I appreciate...
- I'm looking forward to seeing you
- I'm rearing to go to vacation in Corsica
- I can't wait...
- etc

The French spend much time to learn grammar, EMTs don't
so that they would tell you tenses in French are far too numerous.
That's not right.
What's right is that the tenses in French often have a completely different form
(and that's terrible for the French too, who don't use them much).
EMT's don't learn grammar and they would bet and swear subjunctive doesn't exist...
Yes it does exist but they use it without realizing.
To begin with: "God save the Queen" is a subjunctive.
