Microsoft Terminology Forums
Hi everyone,
Not easy to localize computer programs... MS needs native translators of target languages (and not foreigners - see what I mean?).
When Microsoft wants to be very quick, they use automatic translators and the outcome is often laughable, ridiculous, comic.
They're experimenting these "MTF".
I happen to participate in this forum.
To me, this is a good opportunity to:
- use language skills for a real job
- think carefully for a real application
- improve language level
- check against other contributors - there are other contributors and one can see their proposals
- help MS improve their French programs
Want to participate? Send me a pm.

Re: Microsoft Terminology Forums
The importance of the contribution is very good to improve teh level.
At the same time, there are other contributors.
A key point is that one can read other's comments, and even vote for the other proposals (that means one has to think of other's work).
Very formative, very beneficial!
