Children teach oodles of things!
My granddaughter has much influence on me: she is 3 (in a few days) and she recently told me there was too many papers everywere, on the floor... she's right! Since then I got rid of 50 kilos of magazines, brochures, etc. I'll go on with 100!
However, I guess that:
- a French person is so influenced by Descartes and school that they tend to provide a full list
- a Brit doesn't care that much about playing with reality: as long as they are on a pun site, they aim to be funny - full point! Math/logic is something, language is different.
