Thanks Gérard for sharing this 4 mn long video.
As I'm concerned, I'll be sicks with air conditionning, especially in car. For a short way, I can make with, but for long ways, I begin having headache, dry throat and sneezing ... almost cold!

Hi Florent,
Thanks for your message.
Aircon is very weird.
Most Americans cannot live without aircon: when they come to Paris, they are so used to having aircon that they often complain even if May... till nowadays, we couldn't say aircon was necessary in Paris (or in France) as it would have been used for a week per year.
Even in Provence where I was born, aircon is not usual: people know what windows to open all along the day to keep a cool temperature inside the house.
We must also notice the inside yards (patio) of hpuses in Spain or Morocco.
I still remember when I was a student, a colleague who was living in Nice, gave us a talk to explain how they got cool temperature in the old quarters of the city: houses with 2-3 floors, narrow streets so that the street was in the shade; in the buiding there was a staircase with an opening through the roof so that there was a constant light breeze with the air of the street going up to the top.

Re: Is Air Conditioning Making You Sick?
It's selfish but hopefully I live in the north of France! Aircon is pointless (but a warmer is more appropriate )
Re: Is Air Conditioning Making You Sick?
Not sure North won't become like Riviera within a few decades Florent!
