Gérard i agree to remain positive whatever happens but when it is too hard you can't find the energy can you ?gerardM a écrit:Muriel,
On the other hand, if there's no storm, you get destroyed little by little.
A good storm is good to be rejuvenated, a "continuous storm" is necessary to stay young, don't you think?
If people want to really live, they must kick everything around them and continuously create a new "page".
It's the same in many domains:
- for example in companies, when a difficult event occurs, it's not a catastrophe, it's an opportunity.
- for example at the stock exchange, when stocks collapse, we must not whine but get joyful with so many opportunities.

Muriel,
Take a look at this message I just posted: https://www.cafe-polyglotte.com/t4468p735-funny-pics-funny-stories-miscellaneous-2#33842
Unfortunalely/Fotunately (as you like) theory doesn't work, people must know very hard times to feel and uderstand and benefit from it... and discover liberty and true life.
Rare are people who voluntarily choose a hard life in order to learn (see below), and it's when they have a catastrophe in their lives that most of the "victims" discover new perspectives.
I may be wrong, I mean I may be a legend but I was told the Williams sisters' father voluntarily went to a danagerous quarter to live so as his daughters could be tough and solid.
Another example may be with Bill Gates who refuses to give his children too much money.

... or take a look at the message in the post that follows.
There are things people cannot understand, cannot know if they didn't live some harsh situations.

I do love this one!
I totally agree and may put it in a frame before hanging up a wall in my apartment
I often write that
many parents don't bring up their children correctly.
Kids have bright eyes (full of clever questions till 7.
Due to banning, punishment, telling off, etc.
kids' ayes are put out!!
I also like to say parents cut the wings of their kids one by one...
