It's exactly the same Muriel.
Say indiferently "to crave chocolate" or "to crave for chocolate".
There's another more common expression which is "to have a craving for chocolate"; in this expression "for" is mandatory.

I was a bit surprised by "inside of" as a preposition.
"Inside of" is used by Americans as commonly as "inside"; Brits rather say "inside"
(weird, American usually tend to simplify and save words/syllables).

According to The American Heritage Dictionary, inside of is informal.
"Inside and inside of have the same meaning. Inside is generally preferred, especially in writing, when the reference is to position or location... Inside of is used more acceptably when the reference is to time: inside of (or inside) an hour."
