Mureil,
I didn't try to register.
Several days ago, I had discovered this web site another way: Google gave me a link as I was looking for Polyglot cafés in Paris (to respond to a subject of this English lounge) but finally I chose not to post as I judged the site rather dodgy.
I had the impression it was rather like a meeting site than a serious language site.
So I would say let's try to check.

Re: Polyglot Club
I know this website. You can look for a penpal and language exchange groups can also post their events there.
But if you are looking for a penpal, you might rather use Livemocha, with more than 6 millions users worldwide. Livemocha is often seen as the facebook of languages.

Re: Polyglot Club
Hi Romain,
Thanks for "Livemocha" that I didn't know about.
This Polyglot Club also speaks about polyglot cafés for example for Paris: it's rather weird as I read messages about their meeting for the week to come, etc.

Re: Polyglot Club
I had the impression this huge Web site was their only way to organize meetings (I mean for the Parisian café).
Re: Polyglot Club
No, the website is also for penpals. But also to post meetings, not only in Paris, but also in other cities.
Re: Polyglot Club
Yes I saw this: a huge Web site.
