Hereafter from Clint Eastwood
"Hereafter" tells the story of three people who are haunted by death. George, an american who is able to have contacts with the dead but no longer wants to do it ( He has to find his own stability first). On the other side of the world, Marie a French journalist, has a near-death experience which has completely changed her life.In London, Marcus loses his twin brother and desesperately wants to know about after life. Their lives will interconnect. George helps Marcus with a message from his brother. Marcus draws Marie and George together and helps him to fill his gap (Happy ending like all american films)

Hi Muriel,
>I am just back from the cinema and I wanted to share the film with you.
You tell us about the story of the film but you don't say anything about what you expected before entering the (movie) theater (am. for cinema), why you chose this film, what you felt afterwards. Did you laugh much? Did you recognize day-to-day life?
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Gerard
You might think that I am morbid but I do like that kind of subject. Of course I am not the only one to ask the question "Why are we upon the earth ? " "Is there a purpose for our being here below ? "
For 4 years I have been helping my mother writing her biography and I found it amazing. Gradually everything is desappearing : Ideas, people beliefs...
Anyway it is a difficult subject and I found the way it was treated in the film very entertaining
. I like beautiful stories, happing endings, films which fill you with energy.I am not sure that near death experiences prove anything. May be it's like a computor which has gradually been switching down (or switching off i am not sure) .
