The boy in the striped pyjamas
Thank you Florent for lending me that very moving video
Through the eyes of Bruno, a naive nine-year-old whose father happens to be a Nazie concentration camp commander, we dicover the nazi regime horrors. Bruno leaves Berlin and all his friends and moves with his family to a place called out-with in Poland. He doesn't know anything about his father's activities and wonders what this high wire fence is and why the people inside wear striped pyjamas. The boy is eager to discover the secret of the people on the other side of the fence. He misses his Berlin friends and comes closer to the fence to meet shmuel a sad-looking jewish little boly like him. They become friends. Bruno manages to enter the camp and is unfortunately taken to the crematory furnaces where he is burnt hands in hands with his new friend.
The film shows reality though 2 little boys ' innocent eyes whose life is destroyed by adults'foolishness

Bruno, the son of a nazi director of the camp, discover with his eye of a young boy both the horror of the camp and the friendship with a young juwich.
It's very cute but very sad.
