This year the symposium will stimulate dialogue within the Tufts University Community, the broader academic community, and industry and government partners to:
- Summarize the current threat of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, including drug-resistant pathogens and novel diagnostic and vaccine platform
- Discuss future global needs for increased BSL 3/4 research infrastructure
- Collaboratively develop strategies and responses to emerging pathogens while fostering Franco-American academic and industry partnerships
