Rotten Professional Sport??
Hi everyone,
Illegal drug taking in cycle racing, rigged matches in soccer and handball, the French team on strike for the World Championship, arrogant French rugby players who announced they want to win the 6 nation tournament this year and who are defeated 2 times (out of 2)...
Amateur soccer teams defeating professional teams in the French cup...
Poor organized rugby championships which led to the best teams losing their matches thiese past days (Toulon, Bègle-Bordeaux, Clermont...).
Big money is not a good thing.
As tennis players, sport in my family is non-professional and it is not the events listed above which will convince me!
Does money ruin sport and spoil sportmen?
Is amateur sport the only genuine sport?
