20th anniversary of WWW
Hi everyone,
Many anniversaries... maybe due to spring many innovations accur in April, unless I'm becoming nostalgic! Should be the number of years on my shoulders!
Who knew the WWW was created by a Brit in Geneva?

A l'occasion du 20e anniversaire du Web, le Cern a reconstitué le premier site web public lancé par l'équipe de recherche de Tim Berners-Lee. Son objectif ? Permettre à tout un chacun de se lancer dans l'aventure.

On March 18 2013, Tim, along with Vinton Cerf, Robert Kahn, Louis Pouzin and Marc Andreesen, was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering for "ground-breaking innovation in engineering that has been of global benefit to humanity."

- Tim Berners-Lee worked for the CERN-Centre Européen de la Recherche Nucléaire and April 30, 1993 is the date when they made the technology public
- except the rules regarding the content of web pages which were adapted, most features were designed in this period.
