Re: Philochko - American Slang with Philochko
Hi Muriel,
To "turn around" has several meanings from to turn (physically), to completely change your opinion, to change the efficiency of a company (faire demi-tour, changer d'avis, retourner sa veste, redresser une affaire, renverser une situation).MurielB a écrit:Hi Gérard !

Re: Philochko - American Slang with Philochko
Hi Gérard, everyone
i have learnt something
I didn't know that to hand in was to give according to a Schedule, that to hand something over implies the idea that you have to give back even if you don't want to, that to hand out is to distribute for free to a group of people and to hand off is to pass from one hand to the other.
What about you ?
I also enjoy Philochko because it is funny
