Life teaches lessons... but it gives marks, afterwards.
Some students don't see the target (what's good or bad) and even after ought in Syria (for example) they still don't know. They need something else.
This mornng I discussed with a muslim, In told me: "if we don't obey our mother, we're not a muslim!"

Gérard !
when you have to obey your religion or your parents you don't find by yourself what is not good for you. You let someone else steer your life which is very sad and ineffective. Furthermore it offers the potential for catastrophic consequences.
Paula !
Thanks a lot for your Wise words.

Muriel,
When a human new-born arrive, he is not "finished" till years. They absolutely need a guide in their early years.
Unfortunately, nowadays, some people seem not to have.

Re: Staying Alive is Not Enough
In my opinion, I think that is not a question of religion. Some people could need a guide in their life, Ok. Everybody need it!
Some people don’t have the opportunity for going to the school, yes it’s true. And probably, some of these people aren’t able to make differences between ‘good’ and ‘bad’, but not because of their social situation or their religion, but because of their own ideas about life, about others, about the world... I think that people believe in what they want to believe.
In the life of anybody, there is one period in what you can look for more answers out of yourself, your context...
Among poor and discriminated people wherever they come from (country, culture, level of education, etc), you could find a person who is an excellent ‘student’ about the life... And at the same time, among people who live in a welfare society, with a good education and so on, you can find persons who are not good ‘student’ about life. For example, someone who is concern about themselves and who doesn’t go beyond this point of view.
(And in general, I’m speaking about adult people, and for me, anyone is ‘finished’ in this life... Every day we have to pass a new ‘test’, it’s the same for who is 20 or 88 years old)

Very interesting Paula. I also like to say to myself "¡Adelante!" because I feel that when i don't go forward, i go backward.Every day we have to pass a new ‘test’,
Gérard you are right and Patrick with his job as a pediatrician totally agree with you. Anyway when the children are in their tweens they have to find Inside themselves what is good for them. They absolutely need a guide in their early years.

Hi Muriel, Paula,
Yes I agree.
We could write tons but I cannot tonight (busy).
In my mind a new-born, baby, kid, have to be guided but it doesn't mean parents and teachers have to inculcate a doctrine, just lines, directions... I like the quotes of Kahlil Gibran stating your son is not your son, etc. (see what I mean?)
The teenager and the adult, and the senior... have to learn by themselves... and take a guide if they feel like it.
Yes I agree.

Hello Gerard!
I think we are speaking about something similar but from different points of view....
I believe that I understand what you mean, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, it's good to have different comments and opinions about one topic. We always could learn something new!
So, thanks!!
