Gérard I am thinking (about/of) another expression =>I am interested in ...
I had to look on the internet for the difference between I am tkinking about and I am thinking of
In other contexts, to think of something means you're at least aware of the thing, but may not have given it a great deal of consideration. If you think about something this normally implies more focussed or extended attention.

Hi Muriel,

You're impressive! Smile
In other contexts, to think of something means you're at least aware of the thing, but may not have given it a great deal of consideration. If you think about something this normally implies more focussed or extended attention.
Yes you are right.

However...
- as natives speakers, if you ask them they won't realize and would have to think about
- they cannot give a precise definition as they'd refer to memories (examples of uses)
- they don't care much

So the response is: "Yes you are quite right about the difference but don't worry about them as natives don't know."
"Of" ou "about" are synonymous or let say it depends on the other words that follow.
Nobody will ever blame you as the difference is tinier than regional differences in the language.
