English Bookclub - May 15, 2021 - Sherlock Holmes

10am-12. 6 people were present (the maximum, maybe next time this maximum will be higher, the librarian said). 2 people arrived during the meeting, but 2 left.
Arthur Morvan presented the book: a compilation of 4 short stories, entitled "the man with the twisted lip", which also included the famous short story "A scandal in Bohemia" introducing the most notable female character in the Sherlock Holmes stories called Irene Adler. Sherlock respects her for her intelligence and integrity, and calls ger "The woman".
I presented one of the four stories which are in the form of a novel: the hound of the Baskervilles, and a short biography of the author, doctor&sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
