As you know English speaking people do love rhymes so they often add a rhyme to usual expressions; they also do this with cartoon characters names.
"See you later alligator", "In a while crocodile": this is said every time between friends when they have to quit, "in a while crocodile" being the response (the guy who leaves says see you later alligator and the others respond in a while crocodile)  (.
