Re: Internet English Resources by Grammarly.com
Muriel,
Grammarly is a Web site dealing with grammar and denouncing mistakes often made by natives (Grammarly.com doesn't care about ESLs).
Sometimes it speaks about funny things regarding grammar or English language.
Here chemistree is not a mistake but a compound-word made of chemistry and tree as the object represents a Christmas tree built with beautiful and colored chemistry containers.
Look into your dictionary for "nerd".
The dictionary will give you a pejorative meaning. To me, however, the word is milder and means someone who is often very knowledgeable in their favorite domain... to take the computer area, it's a bit like a geek but more: someone who lives for computers only, every minute of their days... rather exaggerated so that the guy looks very strange and is rather ridiculous (with spots and spectacles, never combed hair, they don't care about clothing or dirtiness) - nothing is important but their hobby.
Yes the guy is pretty mad but my translation would be "dingue de, obsédé par" rather than the "débile" found in my dictionary.
The ending -dom, used in kingdom, freedom and oodles of other words, adds the idea of DOMain (I don't know if it comes from domain or if it's by chance).
So in the photo, even for XMas, the guys think chemistry, hence the word "Nerdom".

Thanks a lot Gérard for that explanation;

Re: Internet English Resources by Grammarly.com
???
I need explanations
???
Hm I can see they speak about messages on Facebook
that need to be read again (to fix mistakes).
... but I don't know this "deck with"... hm interesting!
In US slang "deck" is a small dose (of heroin).
So does ir mean that the family is wishing a small dose of Facebook and its mistakes?
