It is important to be careful about touch tablets, they are not always good for children's development ! Their father's generation played with legos and it was better to develop the imagination.

Yes you are right. For instance my grand son could read before entering CP thanks to tablets. Now he likes electronic games very much. Are they useful ? Gameboys or Tetris are not. I try my best to have him do something else : legos, reading or board games.I assume tablets are better than Gameboys or Tetris, no?

Gérard, I have also found

An understatement is deception.

Wrinkly means creased, isn't it ? In which way is it the opposite of "Irony"? Gérard, I would be glad if you can give me the answer. Lots of thanks.

Muriel,
I understand that we iron fabric to remove a crease: in that meaning irony can be said the opposite of wrinkly
~~ edit
There's an expression which says "to iron the wrinkles out of sth" (figurative) = "peaufiner qch".

Muriel,
This is somewhat far-fetched but remember how fond of puns Brits and Americans are (and how savvy they can be).MurielB a écrit:Thanks Gérard. I would never have guessedgerardM a écrit:Muriel,
