Muriel,
"Follow-up" is very used as a noun nowadays: on Twitter it's someone who follows your tweets (roughly someone who belongs to your circle of friends).

Not exactly, in my opinion.MurielB a écrit:yes it's the same. With language-learning you always feel you have not reached a good level yet !
For me you can reach a pretty good level but there's still things to learn if you wish (a problem when you are too fond of perfection, learning is an endless task - people must be able to realize this "ned" for perfection may be too much, and probably in other domains as well: an illness)... Similar in French: even if your language level is good, you can always find improvements.

Muriel,MurielB a écrit:Gérard i understand but what do you mean bythis "ned" for perfection ?
Sorry I made a spelling with an "e" that stayed on my finger, I meant 'this "need" for perfection'
I also made a mistake with "but there's still things to learn": of course it should be "but there're still things to learn" (I initially thought of "there's still something to learn").

Re: Internet English Resources - Grammarly.com 3
NB:
- "traveling" is one of these words that is spelled differently in Am English and in British English (traveling in Am and travelling in British En)
- "to spell" has got two forms for the past and the past participle: spelled and spelt.
